Procedure
- After CAN arrival, transfer passenger needs to contact ground handling staff to transfer at transit counter.
- Bag must be check-in to the final destination(THRU Check-in). Passenger should present BAG TAG to the staff and staff will pick up check-in baggage from carousel and connect it to the next flight.
- (In case of T2-T3 Terminal Transfer) Under the guidance of staff, take shuttle bus to T3 terminal building
- Passengers eligible to enter China who arrive and transfer to the next flight must collect their baggage and check it with the next airline.

< Caution >
① If transit passenger doesn't have Chinese visa, he/she could be not permitted to immigrate.
② Connecting passenger should wait at immigration until he/she gets connecting boarding pass. Therefore, only connecting passenger within a day should be accepted.
International flight domestic flight
Procedure
1. Terminal 2 transfer
① Flight arrival, quarantine inspection - Immigration (2F)
② Baggage claim, customs inspection (1F)
③ Leave the arrivals hall and move to departure area (3F)
④ Check in at the domestic check-in counter (3F)

  • - Passenger must pick up their checked baggage and then move to the domestic counter
Baggage transfer
  • 1. Transit without visa in 24hours
    - After CAN arrival, passenger needs to contact ground handling staff at arrival gate.
    - Passenger should present BAG TAG to the staff and staff will pick up check-in baggage from carousel and connect it to the next flight.
    - But if passenger want to enter Guangzhou, passenger should pick up check-in baggage by himself and send it at the next airline counter.

    2. Transit without visa in 240 hours
    - Passenger needs to pick up his check-in baggage by himself and send it at the next airline counter.
    * Needs to check countries that permitted to transit without visa in 240 hours

    3. Etc
    - In case that next flight is LCC (Low price carrier), transfer cannot be permitted. So passenger is recommended to get Chinese visa and pick up his check-in baggage by himself and send it at the next airline counter.
    (If Guangzhou immigration do not give entry permit, there is high possibility to be unable to get the check-in to next flight.)
