Q What do I need to check-in at the airport kiosk? Details

A

For international flights, you need a passport, your 6 or 8 digit reservation number, or a 13-digit e-ticket number.

Q What can I do at the airport kiosk? Details

A

You can check-in and print your boarding pass, change your seat, and enter or change your mileage number. At some airports, you can print your baggage tag yourself.

Q I have bags to check. Can I self check-in? Details

A

Yes, you can. After receiving your boarding pass at the kiosk, you can check your bags quickly at the baggage counters of each airport.

Q Are there itineraries where airport kiosk check-in is not possible? Details

A

Airport kiosk check-ins can be used for most itineraries, but not in the following cases.

  • - If the operating airline on the itinerary is not Asiana Airlines
  • - Itineraries that require re-issuance or additional fees at the airport
  • - Travel by unaccompanied minors (UM)
  • - Passengers with sticker visas for US flights, or those selected for secondary security inspection by the TSA (Transportation Security Administration)
  • - Passengers with paper tickets rather than e-tickets

As in the above cases, for codeshare flights, please use the counter of the operating airline. If it is operated on an Asiana Airlines aircraft, receive your boarding pass from an employee at the Asiana Airlines counter at the airport.

Q What languages are supported at the airport kiosk? Details

Currently, Korean, English, Chinese, and Japanese language are available at the kiosk.

Q Can I receive my boarding pass at the airport kiosk if I am traveling in a group? Details

A

Yes, you can. However, in the case of group reservations, to protect personal information, you must enter your reservation number and additional personal information.

Q I purchased my ticket on social commerce. Can I process it at the airport kiosk? Details

A

Yes, you can. Bring your 6-digit alphanumerical or 8-digit number reservation number or your 13-digit ticket number. For international flights, please bring your passport.

Q I’m traveling with an 18-month old child, can I use the airport kiosk? Details

A

Yes, you can. Even if you are traveling with an infant below 24 months of age or a child under 12 years of age, you can check-in quickly at the airport kiosk.
