When boarding flights of Etihad Air, Qatar Airways and Air Astana, the partners of Asiana Airlines, a passenger may earn Asiana Club Miles. Miles are earned based on the class of reservation of the e-ticket.
Effective January 1, 2017, miles will only be earned with Qatar Airways for the Incheon-Doha and Doha-Incheon routes.
Miles will only be earned with Air Astana for the Incheon-Almaty, Almaty-Incheon, Incheon-Astana and Astana-Incheon segments.
To automatically add boarding miles earned through partners to your Asiana Club account, please present your Asiana Club Membership Number at point of reservation and check-in.
The miles earned by boarding regular flights of partners are based on the above mileage earning criteria table. Miles are not earned by boarding special flights and codeshare flights.
When a passenger uses a codeshare flight operated by Asiana Airlines and a partner, the passenger can earn Asiana Club Miles. If an operating carrier is a partner, miles are earned based on the mileage earning criteria for the flight name of the carrier and the class of the carrier. e.g. OZ/QR of the Incheon-Doha route Codeshare Flights: A passenger can earn Asiana Club Miles. If an operating carrier is QR, the miles are earned in the flight name of QR even when the passenger boards the OZ flight.
The above mileage earning criteria may change without prior notice according to the circumstances of the partner.
Miles earned by boarding the flight of a partner are not counted for promotion and maintenance of Asiana Club Membership status.
In the case that miles are not automatically added after flying on an affiliate airline, it may be added within 6 months of boarding for Etihad Airways and within 1 year of boarding for Qatar Airways/Air Astana with the submission of the original ticket and e-ticket.
