Dear passengers,
Entry restrictions due to the spread of the COVID-19 are updated per country as follows.
Please check the official website of the transfer or final destination's government/embassy for further details.

Northeast Asia

Entry Restrictions due to Novel Coronavirus (Updates by Country/Region)
Country/Region Restrictions
South Korea
  • Entry Restrictions
    • All passengers who are holding passports that have been issued by Hubei Province, Republic of China and have visited Hubei province within 14 days from the arrival date are not permitted to enter South Korea
    • Foreigners departing from China who require visas for entering South Korea are not allowed to transfer via South Korea without visas
    • Visa exemption entry will be restricted for passport holders of Japan and visas previously issued will no longer be in effect (excludes those who are Alien Registration Holders or F-4 Holders)
    • All passengers arriving in South Korea are required for thermal testing before boarding. If the temperature exceeds 37.5°C (99.5°F), they will be denied boarding (As of 30th Mar)
    • Special entry procedure
      • Complete Special Quarantine Declaration Form (in-flight), Install 'Self-Quarantine Safety Mobile App' or 'Self Diagnosis Mobile App', Check for mobile app installation and an available contact in South Korea at the Special Quarantine Checkpoint
        ※ You may be restricted from entering the country if you do not have a personal Korean phone number or do not install the mobile app
  • Quarantine Regulations
    • All passengers are required to self-quarantine for 14 days (As of 1st Apr, 2020)
      • South Korean nationals or foreign nationals of long-term stay : self-quarantine for 14 days (required to install 'Self-Quarantine Safety Mobile App')
      • Foreign nationals of short-term stay : quarantined at designated quarantine facilities for 14 days with own expense (required to install 'Self Diagnosis Mobile App')
    • Passengers with symptoms are required for COVID-19 screening

[Details for immigration of South Korea]
Taiwan
  • Immigration regulations
    • All foreign passengers will not be allowed to enter Taiwan (As of 19 March 2020)
  • Exceptions
    • Except for Residents of Taiwan, Embassy Visa holders, Entrepreneur Visa holders, and others who obtain visas. They will be required to self-isolate for 14 days
Mongolia
  • Foreigners who have visited China, South Korea, Japan or Iran within 14 days are not permitted to enter Mongolia.
    ※ Mongolia citizens are allowed to enter, however required to be quarantined at quarantine facility ※
Japan
  • Increased of countries subject to restricted entry
    • Countries subject to restricted entry : Foreign Nationals who have visited any of the 73 countries that are subject to restricted entry within past 14 days
  • Strengthened quarantine
    • Conducting PCR tests for passengers (Japanese nationals or Special Permanent Resident) who have visited the countries subject to restricted entry
    • Passengers arriving from all countries will have to wait 14 days at a location designated by a quarantine station chief and are restricted from using the public transportation
China
  • Entry Restrictions
    • Notice on entry restriction policy for foreign nationals (As of 28 Mar. 2020)
    • All foreign nationals possessing previously issued valid Chinese visas, residential permits, and APEC cards are not permitted to enter China
    • Discontinuation of arrival visas, visa-free transfers, visa-free Hainan entry, visa-free Shanghai cruise, group entries to Hong Kong/Macau area, visa-free 144 hour entry into Guangdong Province, and visa-free entry of ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) tourism organizations.
  • Exceptions
    • Diplomatic and Official visa holders, C visa holders
    • Newly issued visas after this announcement are allowed to enter (essential economic trades, science technology activities, etc.)
Hong Kong
  • Entry Restrictions
    • All foreign passengers who have visited other countries within 14 days are not permitted to enter or transit in Hong Kong (As of 25th Mar 2020)
  • Quarantine regulations
    • Hong Kong passport holders and residents are allowed to enter (14 days of self-isolation required)
    • Passengers who have visited South Korea (Deagu,Geyongsangbukdo), Iran or Italy within 14 days are allowed to enter, however required to be quarantined at quarantine facility

Southeast Asia

Vietnam
  • Entry Restrictions
    • All foreign nationals are not permitted to enter Vietnam (As of 22nd Mar 2020)
    • Temporarily ceasing no-visa entries for Korean nationals (As of 29th Feb 2020)
    • Visa exemption entry are not permitted to all foreign nationals (30 days from Mar 18th, 2020)
Singapore
  • Entry Restrictions
    • All short-term visitors are not permitted to enter or transit through Singapore (As of 24th Mar 2020)
  • Exceptions
    • Singapore citizens / Permanent residents (Required to self-isolate for 14 days after arrival)
Indonesia
  • Entry restrictions :
    • Passengers who have been in the following countries will not be allowed to enter Indonesia for 14 days from the time they have left
    • China, Korea (Deagu/Geyongsangbukdo), Iran, Italy, Vatican, Spain, France, Germany, United Kingdom
    • Visa Exemption suspension: Visitor Visa, Visa on Arrival, Diplomatic/Official Visa (As of 20th March 2020 and will last for the following duration of a month, local time)
      ※ Must apply a Visa before entry from Embassy or Consulate. (a Doctor's letter of opinion will be required for Visa approval)
  • Quarantine Reinforcement: All passengers departing from South Korea within the past 7 days must possess a Doctor's letter of opinion (in English)
    ※ Passengers must declare and show the Doctor's Letter of Opinion at the counter and passengers will be denied boarding should there be suspicion of respiratory illness)
Thailand
  • Entry Restrictions
    • All foreign nationals are not permitted to enter Thailand (March 26th ~ April 30th, 2020)
  • Exceptions
    • Thailand nationals can enter with a FIT TO FLY certificate and a letter from the embassy/consular general/department of foreign affairs
Philippines
  • Entry Restrictions:
    • All passengers who visited China, Hong Kong, Macao within the past 14 days from the arrival date are not permitted to enter the Philippines.
    • All passengers who visited Daegu/Gyeongbuk, South Korea and all residents from Daegu/Gyeongbuk, South Korea are not permitted to enter the Philippines.
    • All other South Koreans are required to possess an English ID card when entering the Philippines.
    • Suspension of Philippine visa issuance and visa-free entry, revocation of preissued visa (As of 22nd Mar, 2020) 
  • Exceptions
    • Philippine nationals, spouses, and children
  • Quarantine Regulations:
    - Philippines Cebu(CEB) only regulation
    • All passengers arriving from all foreign countries will be self-quarantined
      ※ Not permitted to use restaurants and amenities or leave the guest room for 14 days
      ※ If the location of stay is not a state designated location, it must be changed when arriving (All change and living expeses are the individual's responsibility)
Cambodia
  • Entry Restrictions
    • Visa exemption entry, e-Visa and arrival visa issuance will be suspended for foreign passport holders
    • All passengers are required to possess a visa issued from the Embassy of Cambodia of the departing country
    • All passengers are required to possess a medical certificate proof testing negative to COVID-19 issued within 72 hours of the departure time
    • All passengers are required to submit a proof of insurance covering at least USD $50,000
  • Exceptions
    • Cambodian citizens, diplomats and their family, diplomatic visa holders (14 days of self-isolation required)

Americas / Europe / CIS / Oceania

Country/Region Restrictions
United States
  • Entry Restrictions
    • All passengers who visited or transferred through China, Iran, Europe, Schengen 26 countries, United Kingdom, Ireland within the past 14 days from the arrival date are not permitted to enter the United States. (Excluding Hong Kong/Macao/Taiwan)
  • Quarantine regulations
    • All passengers arriving in Hawaii are required to be quarantined for 14 days (As of 26th March, 2020)
  • Passengers departing from Korea are required to be in possession of ‘Quarantine Certificate’ by Incheon International Airport Quarantine
    • Location to obtain certificate: Incheon International Airport Termnal: Incheon International Airport, Terminal 1,3rd floor, counter F around exit 6
  • Exceptions
    • US citizens and green card holders can enter through the following airports:
      LAX, SFO, JFK, EWR, SEA, HNL, ORD, ATL, IAD, DFW, DTW
Kazakhstan
  • Entry Restrictions :
    • Only Kazakhstan passport holders and residents are allowed to enter (14 days of self-isolation required)
Uzbekistan
  • Entry Restrictions 
    • All foreign passengers will not be allowed to enter Uzbekistan.
Turkey
  • The following 22 countries passport holders and/or passengers departing from the following 22 countries within the past 14 days from the arrival date are not be allowed to enter or transit (As of 17th March 2020)
    ※ South Korea, China, Iran, Iraq, Italy, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Azerbaijan, United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Ireland, UAE, Egypt, Switzerland, Georgia
    ※ Also applicable to residents with a residence permit (Ikamet)
Koror
  • All passengers who visited China, Hong Kong, and Macao within the past 14 days from the arrival date are not permitted to enter the Koror.
Australia
  • Entry Restrictions
    • All foreign passengers will not be allowed to enter Australia (As of 21:00, 20th Mar, 2020 local time)
  • Quarantine regulations
    • All passengers are required to be quarantined at quarantine facility for 14 days (Including Australia nationals)
  • Exceptions
    • Australian citizens and permanent residents. (Including immediate family members)
Europe(EU)
  • Entry restrictions
    • Passengers from third world country (NON-EU countries) will not be allowed to enter excluding EU citizen, Schengen citizen and their family member, permanent resident visa holders
  • As of 17 March 2020 and will last for the following duration of 30 days

  • It may take more time than usual to confirm whether passengers have travel history in China.
  • Please arrive early to make sure you have enough time to finish the check-in and boarding process.
  • Check-in or entry at the departure/arrival airport may be refused, since regulations are being changed without prior notice.
