Asiana Club Members can earn miles by boarding flights operated by Asiana Airlines or its Star Alliance partners, or by using credit cards, hotels and car rental services that have partnered with Asiana Airlines. The miles you earn are offered for no additional charge, other than the payment for boarding a flight and using a partner's services. Terms of mileage use may change, so your miles cannot be valuated before use. The miles are valuated when they are used for flight awards or for other purposes. (Miles for flights you have boarded before the date of subscription are not earned.)
How to Earn Miles
01
Boarding Asiana Airlines Flights
Mileage will be earned with your Asiana Club membership number upon making a reservation, issuance, or check-in of an Asiana Airlines flight after boarding has been completed (as of the date of arrival) before the morning of the following day. Mileage for the same day will not be reflected on the boarding pass.
02
Boarding Flights of Star Alliance Members and Other Partners
When boarding regular flights of Star Alliance airlines, Asiana Club Miles will be added according to the class and the airline, and the Miles are also counted for Asiana Club Membership Promotion. Asiana Club Miles are also earned when boarding flights operated by Asiana Airlines' partners.
03
Earning Mileage through Partners
Asiana Airlines operates various programs that allow you to earn mileage using various services including hotels, car rental services and financial services.
04
Accumulate Missing Miles
If you have missing miles after registering for Asiana Airlines membership, please request them via post or fax, or you may add them through the website. Please note that mileage cannot be earned before joining the membership program. Miles for flights you have boarded before the date of subscription are not earned.
Depending on the flight status, mileage accrual processing can take up to 3 days. When you fly with our airline partners, it may take about 8 days to process from the date of your departure.
Your name on the passport and in Asiana Club member information must match. For name change request, log in on the website and request it under My Asiana, or contact the regional reservation center.[Asiana Club Service Center]
If you have subscribed to a reward program with another airline, you will need to indicate which airline's program you wish to use to accumulate miles. Once earned, Asiana Club miles cannot be converted to miles with another airline.
Notes on Earning Miles
Mileage Earning Criteria
Asiana Club Miles are not offered based on the seats allocated, but on the tickets purchased. e.g. If you board Business Class using an upgrade award, additional miles for Business Class will not be earned.
Restrictions on Mileage Earning
Miles are not earned and the number of boarding is not counted for membership promotion if you use tickets with a discount of 50% or higher marked in the fare basis, special discount tickets with no miles earned, or flight award or free tickets.
Missing Miles
Please keep your ticket and the boarding pass until you check your mileage earned. If you are not granted miles that you have earned, please send the ticket (original copy or copy, the itinerary for the e-ticket) or the boarding pass (original copy) to Asiana Airlines within a year from the date of boarding. Miles for flights you have boarded before the date of subscription are not earned
Earn Miles for Codeshare Flights
When using codeshare flights operated by Asiana Airlines and non-Star Alliance airlines, miles will still be earned even though the flights are operated by non-Star Alliance airlines. However, the miles earned will not be counted toward a membership promotion.
e.g. Codeshare flights operated with Asiana (OZ) and China Southern Airlines Company Limited (CZ) from Incheon to Harbin
Flights Operated by Asiana Airlines: Asiana Club Miles are earned regardless of flight name, and count toward membership promotion.
Flights Operated by China Southern Airlines: Asiana Club Miles are earned for tickets issued for Asiana Airlines flights, but these miles are not counted toward a membership promotion.
Mileage accrual and number of boarding on codeshare flights operated by Air Busan (BX) and Air Seoul(RS) are reflected in Elite membership qualification and maintenance requirements.
Codeshares that are not mileage partners can only earn mileage after flights.
Mileage accrual with Qatar Airways is only available on the Incheon↔Doha route.
