When traveling with infant or child, we will provide assistance so you can travel with a peace of mind. In particular, please check information below when preparing for air travel with infant aged 7 days to under 2 years old.
※ The accompanying guardian (adult) must travel in the same class as the child.
Infant Fares
Infant Age Standard: 7 days to under 2 years old
Free for domestic flights and 10% of adult fares for international flights.
Infants will not be given a separate seat. (However, a seat will be provided when child fares are paid.)
Passengers traveling with two infants must purchase a child ticket for one of the infants, and a seat will be provided for the infant with the paid fare.
Passengers traveling with a newborn baby (under 1 week old)
Even healthy newborn babies have not yet reached full physical development, and are unable to regulate their body temperature and have immature lung functionalities. Hence, it is difficult for them to adjust to the cabin environment that differs from land.
Therefore, it is best for newborn babies that are under 1 week old to not travel by air. If travel is absolutely required, medical clearance from airline must be received in advance.
