Procedure
🔹 T3 → T3 (Same-day Transfer)
Transfer passengers do not need to go through Immigration.
Proceed directly to the transfer security check and move to your connecting flight gate.
※ Transfer counters and security checkpoints are located on both the left and right sides of the Immigration area (usually only one is open).
※ When checking in at your original departure airport, make sure your baggage is checked through to your final destination.

🔹 T3 → T2 (Transfer after entry and terminal change)
1. Immigration (Entry)
2. Take the Shuttle Train (T3E → T3C)
3. Baggage claim is NOT required (if transferring within 24 hours)
※ When checking in at your original departure airport, confirm with the staff whether you need to claim your baggage at Beijing Capital Airport.
4. Pass Customs and enter the International Arrival Hall
5. Transfer to Terminal 2 by free shuttle bus (1st floor) or paid Airport Express train
6. Check in for your next flight and recheck baggage
※ If you already have your boarding pass or your baggage is checked through to your final destination, you can skip this step.
7. Security Check
8. Exit Immigration (Departure)
9. Proceed to the Boarding Gate
Notes
If your connecting flight departs from a different terminal (e.g., T3 → T2), you must go through immigration, exit the arrival area, and then transfer to the other terminal using the free terminal shuttle bus or the paid inter-terminal train before proceeding with departure procedures for your next flight.
International flight domestic flight
Procedure
1. Immigration
2. Take the Shuttle Train (T3E → T3C)
3. Claim Baggage (Required)

🔹 If transferring to a domestic flight within T3:
4. Follow the signs for “Domestic Transfer / 国内转机”
5. Check in at the transfer counter and recheck your baggage
6. Proceed through Security Check
7. Go to your Boarding Gate

🔹 If transferring to a domestic flight in T2:
4. Go through Customs and enter the International Arrival Hall
5. Transfer to Terminal 2 by free shuttle bus (1st floor) or paid Airport Express train
6. Check in for your domestic flight and recheck your baggage
7. Proceed through Security Check
8. Go to your Boarding Gate

  • Passenger must pick up the checked baggage and then move to the domestic counterl
Baggage transfer
  • The baggage through check-in policy varies depending on your transfer type.
    Please check the following before your flight.
    1. International → International : Baggage can be checked through to the final destination. (Please request this at the time of check-in at your original departure airport.)
    2. International → Domestic : Through check-in is not available. You must claim your baggage upon arrival.
    3. Domestic → International : Through check-in is not available. You must claim your baggage and recheck it for the international flight.
