Relocation operation to Istanbul airport from Ataturk airport will be carried out between 5th and 6th April 2019.
Istanbul new airport would be ready from 7th April 2019 (Sun) 00:00L.
The official name of new airport is “Istanbul airport(Istanbul havalimanı)”.

Division Locations
Check-in counter Location : 2nd floor - Exact location of our check-in counters is changeable - Please check it at information screens of Airport.
Opening time : 3 hour before departure
Closing time : 1 hour before departure
Lounge Asiana Airlines passengers would use the Lounge which is operated by Turkish Airlines.
*For Business passengers : "Turkish Airlines Lounge Business" - International Departure Floor, opposite side of gate E1 (please use escalator)
*For Star alliance gold members : "Turkish Airlines Lounge Miles&Smiles" - International Departure Floor, opposite side of gate C1 (please use escalator)
※ If Turkish Airlines CIP lounge is still not ready after relocation, IGA CIP lounge would be used.
Ticketing Counter NIL
Transfer counter CELEBI transfer counter for Asiana Airlines passenger is located in the middle of transfer floor(opposite side of entry immigration points).

※ Operation hours and availability of facilities may change due to local airport conditions.

Please be aware of the below

  • Relocation operation to Istanbul new airport from Ataturk airport will be carried out between 5th April and 6th April 2019. Passengers using Asiana Airlines on or after that date should check their departure/arrival airport in Istanbul in advance.
  • Please refer to the Turkish Airlines flight status page for Turkish Airlines connecting flights, since lots of Turkish Airlines flights will be delayed or canceled between April 5th and 20th 2019 due to the relocation of Istanbul new airport.
  • Istanbul new airport is huge airport and the walking distance from the check-in counter to the boarding gate is far. Therefore, we kindly recommend passengers to go to the boarding gate as soon as possible after the check-in procedure is completed.
  • Our check-in counter location is subject to change. Please confirm at the airport each time.
  • Announcement such as flight delays, cancellations, gate changes, final calls are not available at the airport. For those information, please check information screens inside of the airport.
