Q What do I need to check-in at the airport kiosk? Details

For international flights, you need a passport, your 6 digit reservation number, or a 13-digit e-ticket number.

Q What can I do at the airport kiosk? Details

A

You can check in, print your boarding pass, select or change your seat, and add or update your mileage number. At some airports, you can print your baggage tag yourself.

Q I have bags to check. Can I self check-in? Details

A

Yes, you can. After receiving your boarding pass at the kiosk, you can check your bags quickly at the baggage counters of each airport.

Q Are there itineraries where airport kiosk check-in is not possible? Details

Airport kiosk check-in is available for most itineraries, but it is not available in the following cases:
  • - When the operating airline is not Asiana Airlines
  • - When additional fees or reissuance are required at the airport
  • - For unaccompanied minors (UM)
  • - For passengers with sticker visas on US flights or those selected for secondary security screening by the TSA
  • - For passengers holding paper tickets instead of e-tickets

In these cases, please use the check-in counter of the operating airline for codeshare flights. For flights operated by Asiana Airlines, please obtain your boarding pass from an Asiana Airlines staff member at the airport counter.

Q What languages are supported at the airport kiosk? Details

Currently, Korean, English, Chinese, and Japanese language are available at the kiosk.

Q Can I receive my boarding pass at the airport kiosk if I am traveling in a group? Details

A

Yes, kiosk check-in is available. However, for group reservations, you must enter your reservation number along with additional personal information to protect the privacy of each passenger.

Q I purchased my ticket on social commerce. Can I process it at the airport kiosk? Details

A

Yes, you can. Bring your -digit alphanumerical reservation number or your 13-digit ticket number. For international flights, please bring your passport.

Q I’m traveling with an 18-month old child, can I use the airport kiosk? Details

A

Kiosk check-in is available even when traveling with an infant under 24 months or a child under 12 years. You can complete check-in quickly at the airport kiosk.
