Quy trình
- After CAN arrival, transfer passenger needs to contact ground handling staff to transfer at arrival gate.
- Bag must be check-in to the final destination(THRU Check-in). Passenger should present BAG TAG to the staff and staff will pick up check-in baggage from carousel and connect it to the next flight.
- (In case of T1-T2 Terminal Transfer) Under the guidance of staff, take shuttle bus to T2 terminal building

< Caution >
① If transit passenger doesn't have Chinese visa, he/she is not permitted to immigrate.
② Connecting passenger should wait at immigration until he/she gets connecting boarding pass. Therefore, only connecting passenger within a day should be accepted.

Quy trình
1. Terminal 1 transfer airlines (CA / MU / HU / ZH / SC)
1) in operation hours of domestic transit counter (09:00L~21:00L)
① Flight arrival, quarantine inspection - Immigration (2F)
② Baggage claim, customs inspection (1F)
③ Go to the domestic transit counter ( after customs, turn right )
④ Check-in ( Get issued boarding pass and check-in baggage) -> Move to domestic departure area


2) After operation hours of domestic transit counter (21:00L~09:00L+1)
① Flight arrival, quarantine inspection - Immigration (2F)
② Baggage claim, customs inspection (1F)
③ Leave the arrivals hall and move to domestic counter (3F)

2. Terminal 2 transfer airlines (CZ / OQ / MF / 3U / NS)
① Flight arrival, quarantine inspection - Immigration (2F)
② Baggage claim, customs inspection (1F)
③ Leave the arrivals hall and move to departure area (3F)
④ Take the free shuttle bus at the gate 9~10 outside of 3F
-> get to the terminal 2 and check-in
* T1-T2 shuttle bus
- operate every 10~20mins in 24hours
- takes about 5 mins to get to Terminal 2

* in case of connection to LCC, you need to ask to the connection airline

  • - Passenger must pick up their checked baggage and then move to the domestic counter

  • 1. Transit without visa in 24hours
    - After CAN arrival, passenger needs to contact ground handling staff at arrival gate.
    - Passenger should present BAG TAG to the staff and staff will pick up check-in baggage from carousel and connect it to the next flight.
    - But if passenger want to enter Guangzhou, passenger should pick up check-in baggage by himself and send it at the next airline counter.

    2. Transit without visa in 144 hours
    - Passenger needs to pick up his check-in baggage by himself and send it at the next airline counter.
    * Needs to check countries that permitted 'Transit without visa in 144 hours'

    3. Etc
    - In case that next flight is LCC (Low price carrier), transfer cannot be permitted. So passenger is recommended to get Chinese visa and pick up his check-in baggage by himself and send it at the next airline counter.
    (If Guangzhou immigration do not give entry permit, there is high possibility to be unable to get the check-in to next flight.)
