Notice of Extension of the Temporary Exemption Period for the K-ETA (~ 2025. 12. 31.)
As part of efforts to support the revitalization of the tourism industry in line with the "Visit Korea Year" (2023–2024),
the temporary exemption period from the K-ETA(Korea Electronic Travel Authorization) has been extended for an additional year, now effective until December 31, 2025.
However, even if you are a national of a country eligible for K-ETA exemption, you may choose to apply for K-ETA to receive benefits such as exemption from filling out the arrival declaration form upon entry into the Republic of Korea. Please note that a fee will be charged for K-ETA applications.
